I live in Calera, Alabama and I am not impressed. Living in Calera, Alabama means that I am living in one of the fastest growing cities in Alabama. Unfortunately, the local school system is currently overcrowded and traffic is often an issue in this area.

me in this area is at a decent rate. Buying or renting a house is also pretty affordable in this area. If you enjoy sports or have children that play sports, you will probably enjoy the local sports complex that the town offers.
The best areas in Calera, Alabama include the local wineries. The Ozan Winery and Vizzini Winery are nice places to sip on a nice glass of wine. If golf is your thing, then you can drive a few balls at Timberline Golf Course. Unfortunately, the town is limited on the number of restaurants and stores for shopping and dining needs. Also, you have to travel more than 10 miles to the nearest emergency room if you need urgent medical care. This town literally only offers the basics.
