Waverly, Iowa - A Great Place to Live! 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I love living in Waverly, Iowa! This really is a town where everyone knows their neighbor, a place where you really feel safe and at home. There are quite a few things to do here especially if you are a nature lover! The river is my favorite place to be with great hiking location ...Read More s, terrific fishing spots and places that you can even camp at if you so choose!

I make quilts and one of the best attractions here in Waverly is the Sew Iowa Shop which caters to all your sewing needs, especially if you are interested in quilting like me! In the summer we have great outdoor concerts, a historical society museum and wonderful restaurants with home style food that tastes just like mom used to make!

The employment rate is growing in Waverly too especially in production and the medical field as well. We also have a college here that has a very attractive tuition available for in state residents! Read Less
