expensive with the majority of homes falling in the overpriced category. This makes the cost of living in Springfield, Tennessee higher than most areas and employment numbers rather low. Job finding in this area is difficult with the low demand. There is lots of open land and farming grounds throughout the city. With that, it makes having great amenities close by very scarce and inconvenient. There isn't much entertainment, shopping outlets, or fun places to go near Springfield. Most of these places are on average a 30-40 minute drive or more. Instead, there are local grocery stores, kid-friendly parks, and great schools.
