Overall living in Somerset, MA has been quite enjoyable for me and the family. We take regular trips to the Free-town River State Forest, and the kids love the place. Although there aren't many entertainment spots here in town, the natural places are more than enough to suffice. ...Read More
Housing here in Somerset is actually affordable in comparison to other places in the state, and the kids go to public school here. The schools are highly rated because education is a very high priority. A safe town, Somerset is the kind of place that you can leave your doors unlocked with no worries.
As far as jobs, there are options and we don't really have an issue with many unemployed people running around. It's like everyone has their own niche and don't mind helping others find their way. I do enjoy the open air and the quality of life found here In Somerset. I think that a person moving here who is single may get bored since there is nothing for young single people to get into.
