rs. 10 minutes away from rugged canyon hiking with genuine, ancient petroglyphs. Bitz n Pizzas has some of the best pies in the state and Ava's is a South-of-the-Border treat for the whole family. I grew up in Snowflake, left when I joined the Army. I have lived in Texas, Georgia, the National Capital Region, Kansas, various locations in SW Asia and am currently in Alaska; without exception, Snowflake is the warmest, most welcoming place I have ever been, and I have loved nearly every place I've lived. Great place for kids to grow up.
