Pea Ridge is a dead non-growing community 0.5 rating By breanneturner ( Jul 06, 2013) Pea Ridge Arkansas is a dead non-growing community. The major business in Pea Ridge is the school district. Currently the school district laying off people and cutting salaries to build a $2 million dollar football field when there is absolutely no growth in Pea Ridge Arkansas. ...Read More This is absolutely a waste of the taxpayer money. I know personally of the hard working cafeteria ladies have all had their salaries cut to help finance this football field. The majority of them only make $10,000 a year and at least two from each cafeteria shops weekly at the community food bank to provide groceries for their families. Is this the type of community you want to move to and support? To provide expensive things to the few while not worrying about the many that is barely getting by? Read Less
