This place is horrid!!!!! 0.5 rating By CPA12113 ( Oct 02, 2014) Its a cesspool of the highest degree. Authorities are incredibly corrupt, inbred and backward. The crime is outrageous for a town of its size. Ozark is located in the southeast corner of AL (an area know as the Wiregrass) and people there are strange and clannish to begin with, b ...Read More ut people from neighboring towns look down their noses at Ozark. It is commonly referred to as "Krazo" which is Ozark spelled backwards. I owned a business there for 8 years. People are close minded and suspicious of outsiders, which is strange as no one is beating down the door to invest there. The economy is in decay. Seriously, I worked in downtown Birmingham once, and did see as many street people there as I did in this town of 13,000. Avoid this place at all costs!!! If you have to the move to this area, consider Enterprise 20 miles to the West or Dothan 20 miles south. Both are much better. Read Less
