A Hot and Welcoming City 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Ontario is a small welcoming town that holds an average of 10,500 residents. The city's school district is equipped with a host of charter, public and private schools nearby. Residents like me are appreciative for the affordable housing market and the positive job growth within t ...Read More he past year. The average salary is $26,100 and the median home cost is valued at $110,000.

The summers are very hot and quite discomforting at times and there is not much rainfall, when we do get scattered showers they are much needed. Winters are cold and brisk; temperatures can drop as low as twenty-one degrees.

As there are not many attractions available the few available provides a breath of fresh air for the residents here in Ontario. I particular love the convenient shopping centers, libraries, restaurants, state parks beaches and lakes. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend checking out the Ontario State Recreation Site, they offer a selection of activities, such as boating, fishing, swimming and biking. Read Less
