Naugatuck is a safe borough to raise a family in. The area is very boring and most people commute to Danbury, New Haven, Milford, Hartford, and Waterbury for attractions, nightlife, restaurants, and shopping. The cost of living is extremely high in this area but the locals are ...Read More
very friendly people. The borough is mostly comprised of Portuguese and Italian descent. The school district is great for children. Naugatuck has a low crime rate and the weather is hot summers and cold winters. We get a decent amount of snow. Spring and fall seasons are comfortable. The people who live here are mostly people who grew up in or around the area or people who enjoy the quiet tiny borough and its history.
