Used to be a Great Place..But No..Run for your Life. 1 rating By Anonymous ( Jun 26, 2020) Let me be blunt. Do not buy here, do not live here. I own a home here and have lived here 25+ years. All of the F ratings you see listed for this location are well deserved. As I write this, we are in the upward climb of the COVID-19 pandemic and constant racial tension, riots, ...Read More demonstrations downtown. No that the LAPD has been demoralized and had 150 million cut from their budget you are pretty much on your own in terms of safety. I never go out after nightfall unless it's an emergency. The schools are the lowest performing in the country. New homeless camps are springing up every day in my neighborhood, home prices are falling, due to the epidemic everyone is indoors, restaurants are all closed. Everything attractive about LA is closed. And as the State and City are continuing to be taken over by "Socialistcrats" LA is now a dead city, high taxes, high crime, high homelessness, poor schools, hours in backed up traffic. Unless you are totally insane..don't move here. Run for your life! Read Less
Mid City, Los Angeles, CA - I'm In Love! 4 rating By Anonymous ( Sep 05, 2012) I live in Mid City, Los Angeles, California and I am in love with it. Really, I have been here for six years and it has been an incredible experience. Living in Mid City allows you the best of both worlds in Los Angeles. You can experience the vibrant city life and the feeling of ...Read More solitude inside the city. It's a hustle and bustling city and the best thing about living in Mid City is living in the heart of Los Angeles. The glitz and glamor of Hollywood is right at your finger tips as well as some of the most critically acclaimed restaurants in the planet.

I am a big movie and music fan and living in Mid City has opened me up to so many new and exciting bands. I love being at the center of where so much music happens, new film screenings, gallery openings and hundred of parties happy each night. The cool thing about Mid City is that you can take it or leave it as it comes. What I mean by that is within Mid City you can have your space inside your home and get the quietude you need or go out and experience the night life of Los Angeles. The Getty Center, Amoeba, Universal Studios and Sunset Boulevard are all within reach from Mid City and public transportation here is essential if you do not own a car. Mid City is a place rich in history and evolving architectural buildings. It's amazing living in a place with so much vibrant energy all around. Mid City only compares to places like Manhattan, San Francisco and Austin. Nowhere else in the world can you find the entertainment, restaurants, music, arts, culture like in Mid City, Los Angeles.
