I’ve lived in this community for 8 years and it is truly a beautiful and preserved hidden gem. Cajalco Rd is a great backroad to escape the 91 Freeway traffic and it is far away from all the freeway and city pollution. On one side you can see the beautiful blue Lake Mathews and ...Read More
on the other you can see the custom million dollar homes that are built on the Gavilan Hills. The residents are friendly and very determined to keep the area rural and make sure the very few tract homes that are built are on large lots and are equestrian zoned. The homes are about 10% tract/manufactured and 90% custom which is rare in the Inland Empire. 40 minutes to Disneyland, 1 hour to Los Angeles, 1 hour to San Diego. 30m to wine tasting in Temecula. 1hr to the beach. A quick 8 mile trip down the canyon and you will find Dos Lagos which includes over 20 restaurants and lounges with wine tasting, and steak houses. The Tyler Mall is also 8 miles away which includes Nordstrom, Macys, and an AMC Theater. This is a great place to live with a great school district and I’m proud to call Gavilan Hills/Lake Mathews home.
