I've lived in Kirksville for 6 years now, and even though it has it's negative points, it has more good ones than bad. We do have a bit of a problem with crime, and there isn't a whole lot of housing to be found right at the present time. The people here are the best though. When ...Read More
something needs to be done they do it. I believe things will improve here, and I intend to lend a hand and be here to enjoy it fully when they do! On the plus side, we have great weather for the most part (some tornado activity but we ain't scared!), and nice neighborhoods to live in.
For fun there's the Kirksville Aquatic Center water park, Thousand Hills State Park for picnicking and hiking, The Museum of Osteopathic Medicine, and the West Winery for the grownups! There's beautiful, natural countryside and parks to enjoy and take in some of the local wildlife. All in all this is just a beautiful little place to call home.
