Keene is a great little spot in southern New Hampshire. I love living here, especially during the winter. If you enjoy winter sports and especially skiing, you'll like it too. There are a bunch of great skiing areas within driving distance of Keene. That being said, it is also a ...Read More
small city with limited opportunities as far as work and school go, but I don't see that as a negative.
If you're looking for something to do without leaving Keene, check out Robin Hood Park. It's a pretty big park and I think it's the best area in Keene. The city is a great choice for people that are looking to settle down and don't really want a very busy lifestyle. There are enough stores and restaurants in Keene to keep you from having to drive far, such as the West Street Shopping Center on the west end of town. It's a beautiful, comfortable New England Town for sure.
