it's a quiet little methy mayberry. 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Nov 14, 2024) There is not much to say about Kahoka, It's quiet for the most part. We have gigabit internet. Rent is reasonable, home prices not so much. Food prices are higher than other areas. City run utilities which keep them below the state and national average. Most people mind th ...Read More eir own business. Not many places to eat out. No real shopping to speak of, you will have to go to keokuk or quincy if you want to do any shopping. two grocery stores, 3 gas stations, 3 banks, dollar general, a smattering of ma and pop type stores. It's got a meat locker, a mexican restaurant, pizza place and a couple other diners. There is no entertainment in the town, not even a bowling alley anymore. Two parks. If you want to be entertained, you will have to entertain yourself or travel. Read Less
