This is God's Country 5 rating By Anonymous ( Aug 05, 2024) Tennessee is very green. I love the changes in seasons. The summers vary from warm, super warm, humid to super humid in the summer. The bloom in the spring is so incredible, which would not be possible without the rain and humidity. The fall is like a picture with amazing col ...Read More ors of browns, yellows, faded greens and oranges. The winters are nice with maybe a week of snow staying on the ground, which the children love because the schools close down.

The town of Gallatin is so sweet with wonderful character. It is picturesque, like a Norman Rockwell painting. There is quite a bit of building going on around the town which includes some additional restaurants and stores. The downfall, it can bring in too many people. I love the quaintness of this town. The people are sweet and lovely.

The town has many things to offer, hiking, boating, water skiing, tubing, history, museums and amazing people all year round. I love this town! Read Less
A- for weather - are you kidding me?! 3 rating By kauble ( Dec 27, 2016) This summer and last we had temps of close to 100 degrees with 100% humidity almost everyday! Last winter we experienced ice and snow and it was horrible because nobody knows how to drive in it here. We had so much rain this summer that everyones home experienced some flooding. Y ...Read More ou do get 72 once in awhile in the winter and usually its warmer then average but for the most part the weather is not A-! You're close to Nashville so if you like the city life then thats a plus. If you don't like driving in bad traffic to get to Nashville then you're kind of stuck in suburbia ville. Its very lush and green (which should tell you what kind of weather you get!) and the cost of living is very good. If you like the outdoors then look elsewhere. Other then gardening there is really not much to do. How many times can you see the Grand Ol Opry? Read Less
