Carlisle Pennsylvania: United States Army Heritage City 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) My family and I had an amazing 3 years living in Carlisle Pennsylvania, the enriched city of United States Army Heritage. Although Carlisle is a larger town, it is one of the smaller divisions of Harrisburg Pennsylvania. The suburban town has an abundant wealth of Army culture. B ...Read More est areas in Carlisle Pennsylvania surround the US Army War College, which is also home to the United States Army Heritage and Education Center. Carlisle also houses Penn State Dickinson School of Law and Dickinson College. The area has impeccable schools with distinguished academics.

Carlisle always gave a great sense of community and security. It’s an affordable area where employment is uninterruptedly on the rise. My kids and husband really enjoy getting out in the town to participate in different events, even in the winter. Carlisle is a beautiful town with all four seasons, it's fun to experience and watch the changes. The city is quite eventful, hosting major activities such as Octoberfest, car shows, food festivals, and the like. Read Less
