One of the perks of living in the area is their annual airshow. It's a fun event, especially for kids. Another benefit of living in this area is its close proximity to Washington, D.C. a ...Read More nd certain parts of Virginia. You can jump on Interstate 495 or take the train to get there. Many people living in this area have to commute to work.

There isn't much to do for entertainment in Camp Springs. There are a couple of nice restaurants but you have to go to neighboring towns for more options. Washington, D.C. and Virginia both have great nightlife and restaurants. The crime rate is low in the community and there are a lot of long-term residents. Many families live in the area as well, but the school system needs a lot of improvement.

Some of the best areas in Camp Springs are away from the highway and military base. The traffic and congestion can become annoying at times. Air Force One is kept at the military base for the president's trips out of town. The older established neighborhoods are also some of the best areas. A lot of seniors and older couples live there.
