Lewisville, TX - Enhances Family Fun 4 rating By Anonymous ( Jul 28, 2010) After visiting Lewisville, Texas, I can say that I enjoyed the historic Texas city a whole lot. The high number of local parks in Lewisville helps bring the community together and were full of playgrounds for the kids to let loose.

Texas's rich Native American history makes Lewisville a place of many historic sites. I enjoyed visiting Peter's Colony, the Lewisville Prehistoric Site, the Lewisville Feed Mill, and the Lewisville Wellhouse. One can't help but to notice Lewisville's intense interest in the cultural and performing arts. Their are a number of theatres, dance, symphony, and art facilities in the town that would make for a pleasing evening activity. Some of these facilities are Flower Mound Chamber Orchestra, Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre, Theatre Coppell, and Lewisville Lake Symphony.

Finding a nice restaurant or bar wasn't a problem at all in my visit to Lewisville. From fast food restaurants, classical restaurants, or specialty restaurants, the selection is very versatile. For delicious barbeque food I would suggest Datz Good BBQ on 1168 Main Street. Other restaurants that I found to be delightful during my visit are Abby's Kitchen, Baan Thai Restaurant, and Carino's Italian Restaurant.

The nightlife scene in Lewisville is about average. They don't have a real diversity in different type of clubs, but the bars serve wonderful food, drinks, and entertainment. Coach Joe Avezzano's Hat Tricks Sports Bar & Grill is a facility that I found pretty entertaining. They have a number of big screen TVs and LCD TVs to watch the games and serve some of the best pizza in the state of Texas. All in all, my trip to Lewisville was a good one.
