Was driving my semi truck in anniston and I had passed the pnc bank when I heard about a dozen pops and by the time I reached Birmingham (my destination from Raleigh) I had 9 bullet holes in my trailer and a punctured tire from a bullet. Crime here is incomparable to any other pl ...Read More

I will tell you the truth about living here before you even waste your time giving it a visit. I was at a gas station just the other day and heard an old man talking about how bad the crime has gotten in the city. It wasn't like this when I was growing up in the early 30's. I kno ...Read More
w a good person when I see one, and everyone here has one issue.
The employment issues are really being felt here, and honestly I think that folks should pull up their britches and go to work. Somehow, someway we will meet our lofty goals of growth and help the less fortunate catch up.
If you would like to move into a lovely southern home with all the bells and whistles, you can find a number of options here in Anniston for prices that are unbeatable elsewhere. I love the design because it takes me back to the good days, way back when I was a child in the 30's.
