HORRIBLE place to live as a person who needs to visit or rent .? 0.5 rating By Anonymous ( Feb 06, 2019) I Went to visit our niece and was horrified to see how OUT of control the rents are in Monahans. Some people are paying as low as $1500 to $ 4000 PER MONTH for a TWO OR THREE BEDROOM! What a coincidence that most of these people are paying this much because either they work fo ...Read More r the oil industry OR from MEXICO . I wonder if the THE LANDLORDS just taking advantage of these people.I love in Amarillo Tx and if I am going to pay $1500 OR $ 4000 it would be because I would be BUYING A LUXURY HOME! The only other places I know of for those prices are in Metropolitan areas like New York or California. I am SHOCKED to at the least of MONAHANS TEXAS. Read Less
