passes to the fitness centers, plays, art and music. The summers are fabulous and you are only an hour from the great Adirondack Park and the St. Lawrence River where you can kayak, hike, camp, fish, boat, ski, snowshoe and snow mobile. There is a modest amount of restaurants and pubs like in any college town, but for outstanding food one only has to go to Ottawa. For people who want 100 degree summer days and 40 degree winter days, Canton is not for you! But if you love green, lush, wooded, rivered, mountained land, you won't go wrong here. Oh, and the people are the best!
